Christian G. Maano (Student Success Story)
Christian G. Maano is a 23 year old lad hails from Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. He arrived in the UAE almost 3 years ago to work as a storekeeper. His decision to go back to school is to gain new skills, expand his career option, to earn more money and see the world in the future.
In choosing Maharlika Academy, He believes Maharlika Academy provides better opportunities for a quality higher education in the field of health to the people on Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Region, regardless of religious belief and cultural affiliation. Moreover, He envisioned that the programs will help inculcate in him the values of health and sanitation, prevent illness and alleviate suffering of the informed and the handicapped.

Sherylde Medina Quezon (Student Success Story)
I am Sherylde Medina Quezon, 42 years of age and a proud mother of 4 from the Haven of the North which is Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya. I have worked in the UAE for 8 years.
I decided to go back to school because one of the most basic ways to improve one’s life is to gain more knowledge and acquire more specialized skills to widens my spectrum of job options. It is also a personal investment that allow me to achieve my goals, whatever they may be.
As the slogan itself of Maharlika Academy “ Educate yourself, uplift your life”, I have the faith that it can change my life thru the help of competitive instructors. Exposing myself to new topics and experiences will simultaneously enhance my self-esteem and gives me a greater access to occupations and job opportunities.
From a Clinic Secretary, I am currently working as a Medical Receptionist in one of the Health Care Facilities in Al Ain and because of the specific skills and knowledge that I learned in Maharlika Academy it helps me to familiarize the latest advances within the field.
My advice to the OFW, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”
Mr. Russell G. Alaysa (Instructor of Maharlika Academy)
Our Medical Coding Course Instructor, Mr.Russell G. Alaysa is a proud son of Paoay, Ilocos Norte. He is married to Mrs. Janica C. Alaysa of whom was blessed with 2 Children. He arrived in the UAE in 2016 to work as a medical coder until present times.
He believed that while others have a passion for cars, travelling or eating; He have always wanted to teach, it is something that he enjoy doing. It amplifies in him the feeling of accomplishment when you are making a difference and give the motivation to continue uplifting the lives of fellow kabayans.
He choose Maharlika Academy as a platform to share his passion for teaching because of its roster of high caliber professional instructors, its capability to provide high quality standards in education, few reasons of which his really proud to be affiliated with.
In defining his course, Medical Coding is a highly in demand profession in the health care industry. His approach to learning the course is mainly to prepare the student pass the certification exam. Basic foundation of Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology will also be discussed. Suitable for medical and non- medical aspirants. All the technical and analytical skills necessary to work as a medical coder in a healthcare facility.
His final Advice to the Filipino OFW, “is to make plans not only for your family back home but plans for yourself when you get home. The opportunity that we have is temporary and will last only for a while so make the most of it. Invest in yourself.
